[Class 61(i)] [Also in Group XXVIII] A suction cleaner handle 17 is maintained in an upright, normal working or lowered position according to whether a spring- loaded detent roller 38 carried by a lever 31 pivoted to the handle bail 18 is engaged in a recess 23, 24, or 25 formed between projections 26, 27, 28, 29 of a cam sector 20 riveted to the cleaner casing, and the roller 38 is held out of contact with the recess 24 to prevent wear by a stop 40, which limits movement of the roller towards the cam sector 20.
