658,137. High frequency coupling arrangements. PATELHOLD PATENTVERWERTUNGS- & ELEKTRO-HOLDING AKT.- GES. May 20, 1949, No. 13530. Convention date, May 20, 1948. [Class 40 (viii)] An arrangement for variably coupling two parallel conductors 1 and 2 to a coaxial line 6 comprises a hollow end-piece 7 joined electrically to the outer conductor of line 6 and rotatable about its axis and carrying two hollow branches 10 and 11 whose ends are bent into proximity, conductor 11 containing an internal conductor 12 connected to the opposing end of conductor 10 at one end, and at the other to the internal conductor 121 of line 6. The rotation of piece 7 will then vary the coupling with members 1 and 2. Movable brackets 14 and 18 are provided on members 10 and 11 and 1 and 2 respectively for tuning adjustment. Members 10 and 11 in an alternative construction rotate around a vertical axis and the coaxial line enters the unit vertically at the bottom thereof.
