Abstract

656,909. Colour kinematography. BERNARDI, A., and OLYMPIA FILMS (LONDON), Ltd. Aug. 9, 1948, No. 20955. Drawings to Specification. [Class 97 (i)] In an additive system alternate colour selection records are taken successively through complementary or substantially complementary colour filters on a film advanced after each exposure by one half of the normal frame height at twice the. normal frequency, so that each frame contains a pair of colour selection records, a positive film being produced from the negative film, pairs of positive records being projected simultaneously to give superposed images. Both images of the pair may be projected through filters or one through a filter and one without. The projection may be by means of a pair of juxtaposed objectives substituted for the normal objective.
