Abstract
672. Ulysse, P. Jan. 9. Kinematograph apparatus.-Relates to colour kinematography in which the n images together producing a single imaga in natural colours are taken and projected simultaneously. In order to facilitate the projection of pictures taken from closely - arranged viewpoints, the simultaneously-taken images are widely separated on the film by the provision of means for maintaining a loop in the film as it passes through the camera, or, alternatively, a loop in the positive film during printing. Fig. 5 shows an arrangement for printing a three-colour positive, loops being maintained in the positive film A between successive printing windows by means of drums 26, 26'. Fig. 7 shows various arrangements of pictures on the positive films. The positive may be printed by projection by means of a system of lenses previously adjusted so as to project the images of the negative film in register on a screen. A rotary shutter carrying the colour filters 33, Fig. 10, is provided with adjustable shutter-leaves 32 for varying the length of filter employed for each colour. In Fig. 11 is shown a shutter carrying the shutter-leaves 32 for one colour on arms 37 of a central hub 36, so that all the leaves 32 are adjusted simultaneously.
