Abstract
260,574. Akt.-Ges. f³r Spiegeltechnik, (Assignees of K÷hler, W.). Oct. 28, 1925, [Convention date]. Kinematograph apparatus.-In the production of composite kinematograph pictures by photographing separated parts of the subject simultaneously, one of the parts is a scene on previously prepared positive kinematographic film, and the film pictures are themselves successively photographed in substitution for the original parts of the subject when making the composite picture. As shown, a camera 1 is used to photograph a scene 2 through a mirror 3 and simultaneously to photograph a film 4 by reflection in the mirror, the film 4 being illuminated by a lamp 5. One or more lenses 6, to modify the relative size of the film image, and masks 7, 8, may be provided. The mirror 3 may be semi-transparent. The scene 2 may be replaced by an illuminated film, and the pictures on several film strips may be simultaneously combined by means of further mirrors. Specification 234,542, [Class 98 (ii), Photographic processes &c.], is referred to.
