[Class 37] [Also in Group XXXVIII] Apparatus for measuring small intervals of time by charging a condenser C with a constant current during the given time interval, and measuring the voltage developed across the condenser by a voltmeter V, comprises a fixed resistance R3 which may be connected either in shunt with the condenser, or as shown, to replace it, to provide a calibration voltage with the same current flow, for checking the voltmeter sensitivity. The voltmeter may be calibrated directly in units of time.
