654,560. Inhalers. DEVEZE, H. Nov. 29, 1948, No. 30861. Convention date, Nov. 28, 1947. [Class 81(ii)] An inhaler comprises a cylindrical tube having a central opening, to be pressed against the nostrils, its extremities being partially closed by plugs and having spectacle type ear pieces for supporting it in position. In the embodiment shown a bent tube 1 has perforated covers 5 at each end and a central orifice 4 for application to the nostrils. A plug 9, for containing a medicated substance, is inserted in each arm of the inhaler and the device is supported by arms 8 pivoted to the body 1 and gripping the sides of the face. The closed ends of the plugs 9 prevent exhaled air passing through the medicament.
