[Class 13] [Also in Group XXXIX] In an arrangement for preventing acoustic feed-back in a loudspeaking telephone set, the loudspeaker is arranged to transmit in both directions perpendicular to the axial plane of a reflector shaped as a parabolic cylinder, and the transmitter is situated in the axial plane of the reflector which forms a region of zero sound intensity. As shown, a baffle board 5 lying in the axial plane of the reflector 1 is provided with an aperture 2 locating the loudspeaker so that its axis is perpendicular to the board 5 and intersects the focal line of the reflector, the transmitter 3 being located on the outside of the cabinet 4 vertically above the loudspeaker.
