[Class 84] A milking machine claw, comprising a body having a tube 15, leading to the milk receptacle, which is in connection, via a bore 5, with a number of milk passages 9 leading to the interior of the teat cups, has a piston valve 17. with a reduced diameter stem 20, manually slidable in said bore to establish connection between the milk receptacle and vent the teat cups in position; and to cut off the flow to the milk receptacle and vent the teat cups in the other position.
