[Class 102(i)] [Also in Group XI] In an oil burner comprising a tubular casing 10 having an air inlet 12 at one end, and a discharge outlet 14 at the other end. such casing containing in spaced relation therein a unit consisting of a fan 18, a pressure-air pump 22, an oil-metering pump 24, and an atomizing nozzle 26, all mounted on a motor and in line therewith, the pressure-air and oil pumps feeding the nozzle which at a point adjacent the discharge outlet of the tubular casing projects an oil fog into a stream of air furnished by the fan (see Group XI), the oil-metering pump 24 comprises a gyrating cylinder member 80 driven by a ball 96 seated in an eccentric socket on the end of shaft 28, such cylinder-member receiving a piston 82 which reciprocates in a bore 84 therein, the piston being attached to a rocker member 86.
