[Class 110(iii)] In a power plant comprising both gas and steam turbines, steam tapped from the turbines is used to pre-heat the compressedair for the gas turbines. The tapped steam may be used subsequently for heating the feed-water. A succession of tappings for air-pre-heaters in series may be used. The tapped steam may also be used for heating a further fluid. Specifications 607,311 and 617,871 are referred to.
