[Class 108(i)] [Also in Group X] A floor, roof, or wall of a caravan is formed of members placed side-by-side each comprising in cross-section outer and inner parts connected by one or more webs and at least one pair of corresponding side edges of which parts are cranked both outwardly or both inwardly so that these parts of adjacent members engage with a locating but non-interlocking lap joint. The flat or curved flanges 4. 5 of the extruded aluminium &c. H-sections shown are cranked to fit between the flanges 6, 7 of adjacent sections, and each flange 6 has a tongue 8 forming a groove to receive the flange 4; the flanges 7 may have similar tongues or may be connected to the flanges 5 by rivets 18. A box-like section having two webs 3 is also described. Grooves 17 may be formed in the outer surfaces, while projections 10 on the inner surfaces may secure laterally grooved expanded ebonite heat insulating strips 12 having a veneer finish 13, the gaps being closed by T-section wood &c. strips 15.
