[Class 108(i)] An automobile framework comprises a central member 1 adapted to form the floor of the vehicle, rear lateral extensions 2, 3 connected by a vertical brace 5 and a horizontal brace 6, and forwardly extending members 15, 16. The rear extensions 2, 3 are adapted to form the rear wheel housings and spring anchorage whilst the front extensions 15, 16 support the engine and front wheels. A vertical transverse brace 8 carries hinges for the doors 9 and a sloped transverse member 11 has extensions 12 carrying the windscreen.
