[Class 132 (iii)] A constructional set comprises panels or plates of different shapes and sizes including some of L-shaped section, each with an inturned lip on at least two opposite edges, and connecting members, each with complementary inturned lips on opposite edges so that the panels may be joined by the connecting pieces which are slid on to the edges of the panels. Each panel 1 has at least two inturned lips 3 overlying and spaced from the face of the panel. If these lips are on adjacent edges they stop short of the corner between these edges. In some panels all the lips overlie the same face whilst in others some overlie one face and some the other. Some panels may be of L-shaped section as shown in Fig. 2. Instead of being flat, the panel may be angular, as shown in Fig. 7, or curved. One or more of the rectangular panels may be formed with an opening simulating a door or the like and may actually be provided with a hinged door or the like. Various locking bars 2 are provided, each being strip-like with two inturned opposed longitudinal margins 5 to engage the lips 3 on any two of the panels, and therefore usually being of C-section as shown in Fig. 10. The bars may, however, be bent along their centre line so as to join the panels at right angles as shown in Fig. 13. Some bars may be elbow-like, being bent intermediate their ends, with inturned lips along their long edges which terminate short of the bend. At the ends of the bars there may be clips to clip the bar to another bar perpendicular to it. Clips, such as 7 in Fig. 16, may be provided for hooking on to panels 1 and bars 2 and these may be provided with holes to receive shafts or axles such as 8 or 9. Wheels 10 and pulleys 11 may be provided, which have screws or the like with which they are secured to the shafts. A toy built up from the set is shown in Fig. 13.
