Abstract

644,515. Matting. HARRISON & SONS, Ltd. S. D., and HARRISON, H. L. April 16, 1948, No. 10669. [Class 142(iv)] [Also in Group XXIV] U-shaped wires 1 connect flexible section links of a chain link mat or belt. Each extreme side link 3 on one side is provided with two transverse drillings 32 extending half-way through the links from their common starting face and connected by a longitudinal drilling 33 so that the ends 11 of the wires lie within the longitudinal drillings. The links may be made from rubber, fibre or like flexible material.
