[Class 114] In an aeroplane or like propeller comprising a plurality of helical blades 1 secured at one end to a hub, narrow helical plates 5 are supported at their ends by two consecutive blades 1, each plate 5 starting from one side of one blade 1 and extending in a curve to the opposite side of the next blade 1. The plates 5 are secured to the ends of cylindrical cross-pieces 3 in the middle of which are bearings 4 which support the tips of the blades 1.
