Abstract

640,786. Pressure cookers. BAKARIAN, P. W. Aug. 24, 1948, No. 22307. [Class 66] Internal receptacles for a pressure cooker, e.g. as in Specification 615,768, [Group XVIII], comprise an annulus 11 resting on the bottom and with an upper inturned flange 13 to support a receptacle 3 having drainage openings 4 so disposed that drainage liquid passes outside the annulus. The annulus leaves a space 12 for the drainage water so that it does not fall on other food placed on a perforated shelf 14 supported on the bottom flange 15 of the annulus. A removable diametrical partition 5 is secured in the receptacle 3 by lugs 7 of the partition, being slid into recesses 6 formed in the wall of the receptacle. The partition 5 has a lifting hole 8. Inward projections 10 in the receptacle wall are provided for lifting it out.
