[Class 132 (iii)] A constructional toy comprises hollow rods telescoping one within the other and having apertures formed in the ends of each rod, pins being provided to fit the apertures and lock the hollow rods together at their ends. Fig. 2 shows two members 25 joined by a member 26, each member 25 being secured to the member 26 by a pin 28 which is held either by a rubber grommet or by a clip as shown in Fig. 5. Various gusset plates are provided by which members 25 may be secured at right angles to one another, such as that in Fig. 9. The members 25 are held by pins passed through the apertures 51, 53 and 54 or by clips, such as that in Fig. 8, which engage the slots 35a, 36a and 52 or embrace the members 25 or both. A beam-supporting member may be used which hangs over a member 25 and secures another member 25 perpendicular to this and underneath it, as shown in Fig. 10. A member 25 may be used as a corner post with an angle piece 75, Fig. 12, attached to it by means of a clip 76 which engages apertures 80 and 81 in the angle piece. The hollow rods may be tubular. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 comprises also box-section and tubular hollow rods secured in any relationship by spring clips inserted between them, and a method of attaching flexible strips in various relationships to members 25. A roof construction is also described, Fig. 17 (Cancelled), in which members 25 are held by clips 68 with notches 69 which support sheet roofing. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
