790,466. Shuttering. AFRICA GENERAL CONSTRUCTION, Ltd. Aug. 10, 1956 [Aug. 15, 1955], No. 24597/56. Class 20(2) A shuttering panel 1a comprises a channel member the side flanges 3, 4 of which are spanned by tubular struts 7, the side flanges being apertured coaxially with the struts at 8 so that in use the panels may be connected side by side by rods 12 secured by nuts 8 or collars 15. Bearing collars 9 are provided on the base 2 of the channel members, having their axes disposed at right angles to the axes of the tubular struts 7 and the base of the channels are apertured coaxially with the collars 9 so that the rods 12 may be introduced into the collars 9 in order to connect, panels at right angles to each other. The struts 7 as a group are offset in one direction along the length of the channel and the collars 9 as a group are offset by the sme distance in the opposite direction so that panels connected at right angles can be aligned by inverting one of the panels relative to the other. The channels may be closed by end flanges 5, 6.
