Abstract
640,302. Rolling. BOHLER, V. Dec. 18, 1947, No. 33477. Convention date, Dec. 19, 1946. [Class 83 (iv)] In a pass adjustment device comprising thrust screws 3 and nuts 4, each screw has a bore 13 into which engages a spindle 14 which drives the screw by means of a bush 15, gearing 16-19 and motor 20. The spindle 14 may be articulated, to allow for displacement between the bush 15 and screw 3, which is guided in the nut 4 by bushes 21, 22, to prevent misalignment of the axes due to the large clearances allowed between the threads.
