Abstract
639,248. Baking apparatus. JANSSE, A. P. C. June 28, 1948, No. 17337. Convention date, June 28, 1947. [Class 28(i)] To dispense with the need for greasing baking tins, the pieces of dough are first allowed to rise (proving) while resting in open top bags of textile fabric whereby the top of the dough acquires a firm skin so that when placed skin down in the baking tins, and baked there is no adhesion and further the tins do not need cleaning after use. Several strips of textile fabric 7 are connected between an upper frame 2 and a lower frame 1 so that when the upper frame is pivoted down by links 5, 6 to rest on the lower frame, the fabric falls into trough - like form, open at the top into which dough pieces are placed for proving. After a skin forms on the top of the dough pieces, the frame 2 is lifted up by its handle 9 whereby the textile strips 7 are straightened out tight and the dough pieces are rolled off into baking tins 8 below in inverted position, skin down.
