Abstract
638,191. BrassiÞres. AMYOT, P. April 12, 1948, No. 10138. [Class 141] A strapless brassiÞre comprises a pair of arch-shaped supports 6 of cord-stiffened fabric having their inner legs secured together, a diaphragm band 10 extending between the legs of each support, and a pair of circular breast pockets 5 secured between the concavely curved upper edges 11 of the bands and the upper parts of the supports. The parts 5, 6, 10 are preferably secured together by faggoting 9, 12, 13, 15. The cord-stiffened fabric 6 may be completely enclosed in a sheath 7 of suitable fabric and the arch-shaped members may be transversely curved. The breast pockets are preferably of open mesh fabric.
