636,422. Rocket dischargers. ZBROJOVKA BRNO, NARODNI PODNIK. Sept. 15, 1947, No. 25213. Convention date, Sept. 17, 1946. Addition to 632,599. [Class 92 (ii)] The rocket-launching weapon of the parent Specification is modified by forming the breech chamber 3 with an opening communicating with a magazine 4, the opening being controlled by a forward extension 1<SP>1</SP> of a head 1 which is rotated by the dynamic action of the gases discharged by the projectiles. Further, the head serves to effect the automatic feeding of the projectiles from the magazine to the breech chamber when the extension 11 is moved to the breech-open position. Thus, when a projectile is discharged the extension 11 is rotated anti-clockwise and a gear 6 upon it by engaging with a rack 7 causes a member 9 to descend against the actions of springs 8 and 16. Spring 8 bears against a fixed casing 12 and spring 16 against a slide 13 which carries a feed pawl 10 bearing against the lowermost projectile 5. When extension 1<SP>1</SP> is in the fully-opened position, projections 17 on the member 9 release pivoted catches 11 which were previously holding the lowermost projectile, and the spring 16 is thereby allowed to expand, thus feeding the projectile into the breech chamber. When the action of the discharge gases ceases, the spring 8 returns the parts to the initial position shown.
