[Class 112] A low voltage electric lamp 4 is mounted at the bottom of the sewing head 1 adjacent the needle bar 2, and is supplied with current from a transformer 13 carried by the machine. The lamp is provided with a reflector 6 and is controlled by a switch 16. An electric motor for driving the machine may be included in the circuit.
