Abstract

637,833. Sewing-machines. SINGER, M. J. Nov. 28, 1947, No. 31582. Convention date, Nov. 28, 1946. Drawings to Specification. [Class 112] Two electric lamps contained in a holder are mounted at the bottom of the machine head so that the needle reciprocates between them. The lamps are earthed to the machine frame, and are connected by a single wire to a stud at the base of the standard and adjacent to a stud connected to the frame. The studs engage bars mounted in the base of the machine and connected to the terminals of a step-down transformer.
