[Class 75 (iv)] An electric lamp particularly for mounting on an aircraft comprises a concentrated electric light source c associated with a reflector a serving to project substantially all the emitted light as a beam in a substantially vertical downward direction for impingement on an auxiliary reflector b from which the beam is projected in a path free of any screening obstruction, and in a substantially horizontal plane covering a substantial angle. The reflector b may, alternatively, be of prismatic form.
