Abstract

A composition for colouring leather, heavy textiles and like materials, particularly for colouring them to a lighter shade, consists of methylated spirit, a spirit dye, nitrobenzene and printers' or spirit white.ALSO:Leather, leather substitutes, heavy textiles and the like are coloured by applying a composition consisting of methylated spirit, a spirit dye, nitrobenzene and printers' or spirit white. The composition is useful for colouring dark materials to a lighter shade.
