Abstract

A moulding composition comprises an intimate mixture of an acrylic polymer and between 0.02 and 0.25 per cent by weight of a silicone. The polymer is preferably polymethyl methacrylate and may be used in solid and/or liquid form. The silicone may be in the form of an aqueous emulsion or dispersion or a solution in an organic solvent. Articles such as artificial teeth may be moulded from the compositions as such or the polymer may first be mixed with the corresponding monomer. Specification 484,343 is referred to.
