[Class 80 (i)] A chain wheel arrangement for cycles and the like comprises two toothed rims a, b secured together by bolts through bosses a<1>, b<1> formed on the rims respectively. The bosses on the smaller rim b are provided very near the pitch line of the teeth whilst the bosses on the larger rim a are provided in threes in T-shaped stays lying along equidistant chords of the rim and perpendiculars from said chords to the rim. The connecting points between the chords and their perpendiculars are provided with bosses a<2> for attachment to arms of the pedal crank.
