'[Class 60] [Also in Group XXXIV] The metal base 19 of a work rest blade is provided with a longitudinal channel 22 to hold alternate blocks of cemented Tungsten carbide 26 and of hard metal 27, the blocks having their outer surfaces finished smooth. The hard metal may be of the alnico group and the blocks are soldered or brazed into the channel.
