[Class 129] An infuser for a tea urn comprises a cock by means of which boiling water from the urn can be directed into the infuser either above or below a permanently open outlet. With the handle a of the cock d in the position 3, as shown, boiling water from an inlet 6 enters a passage 7 within the cock and passes by way of a passage 8 to the bottom of a container b, providing a strong brew which is discharged through an overflow lip f. In position 2, boiling water enters the container by way of passages 11, 12, providing a weak brew. In position 5, the container is drained by way of passages 8, 10, 9. At positions 1 and 4, the cock is closed.
