Abstract

627,533. Cabinets. WELDALL & ASSEMBLY, Ltd., and LIGHTBOURNE, R. C. Feb. 6, 1947, No. 3504. [Class 52 (i)] A cabinet is fitted with a sliding door constituted by slats 1 having inwardly directed end plates 2 connected in chain fashion by pivots 4 and fitted with anti-friction rollers which run in channelled guide rails 6. The end plates 2 carry rollers 10 axially displaceable on their spindles 9, while the pivot pins 4 also carry rollers 5 to run on the sides of the channels. The guide rails are secured to an internal structure 14 with top and bottom lining plates and end plates to which structure hooked supporting bars 20 for suspending the cabinet are secured and the exterior is covered'by top, bottom and end plates. When two cabinets are to be superposed the adjacent top and bottom plates are omitted and a beading 22 is applied to cover the joint.
