[Classes 30 and 131] [Also in Group XXXV] In an A.C. motor for oscillating the cut ting element or elements of a razor relatively to the casing the driving end of the armature is dis posed between a pair of abutments providec on a relatively heavy block connected to the fixed laminated core, the inertia of the block reducing the transmission of vibration to the casing. As shown, resilient stops 11, 12 between which an extension 6 of the armature projects are carried by a non-magnetic metal block 8 mounted on an outer limb of an E- shaped core, the armature being pivoted on the end of the other outer limb of the core. Pins such as 19, Fig. 4, on the block 8 and on the E-shaped core project into apertures in the casing 18, resilient washers 22 intervening as shown.
