Abstract
623,559. Drawers. LARKING, R. A. June 19, 1946, No. 18449. [Class 52 (i)] [Also in Group XVII] A delivery receptacle for bottles of milk or other articles comprises a drawer 1 slidably mounted in and accessible from both sides of a wall or door 4 and divided into compartments 2, each of the latter having a weighted or spring- influenced flap 7 that is projected through a slot 6 in the base by the weight of the contents and restricts outward movement of the drawer to exposure of empty compartments only. The drawer is mounted on two pairs of rails 5 connecting the lower ends of rectangular frames 3 and has stops 14, 15, co-operating with disaligned slots 16, 17, Fig. 2 (not shown) that prevent complete withdrawal. When the drawer is being closed from outside with its compartments loaded, the cam surface 11 allows each flap to ride over the framework 3a and then assume the lower position.
