Abstract

1365463 Dispensing stacked articles SOC PERNOD 30 Jan 1973 [18 Feb 1972] 4570/73 Heading B8S A device for dispensing articles comprises a vertical shoot 1 containing a stack of articles and closed by a closure element 3 pivoted about a shaft 4, a first spring 6 which engages an upturned portion 5 of the closure element 3 and serves, with the portion 5, to support the penultimate article 2b in the stack when the closure element is pivoted downwardly to discharge the lowermost article 2a through a passage 12 defined between the closure element 3 and a portion 11 of the shoot, and a second spring 14 which projects into the passage 12 to engage the lowermost article 2a and support the penultimate article 2b when the article 2a is being discharged. The closure element 3 is pivoted by a lever 26 which engages a lever 24 connected to a slide 19 so as to extend the slide to block the path of an article when the article is discharged. The first spring 6 also engages the underside of the closure element 3.
