Abstract

623,350. Cutting and slicing vegetables. GROSSMITH, A. C. May 3, 1947, No. 11964. [Class 5(i)] A two-edged vegetable slicer is provided with a gauge 15 adjustable for right and left-hand users and for varying the thickness of cut. The cutter 1 is integral with the front tubular part 3 of the handle, the rear part 10 being rotatable relatively to the front part. The gauge 15 is formed in one with a crank disc 18 centrally mounted on a spindle 14 keyed to the handle portion 10 to prevent rotation relative thereto. A locking-knob 22 terminates the handle part 10.
