622,123. Pressure gauge flow-meters. BOSE, B. N. Sept. 4, 1946, No. 26533. [Classes 106 (ii) and 106 (iii)] A fuel consumption meter comprises a tube 1, 2, 3 for the passage of the liquid fuel, a manometer 4, 5, 6 employing a liquid non- miscible with the fuel having its ends connected to points in the fuel supply system spaced apart along the fuel tube, and a scale 8, associated with one limb of the manometer, calibrated to show fuel consumption against change in level of the manometer liquid. The scale 8 is slidably adjustable relative to the manometer by means of a screw 9. In addition to the gallons per hour scale, a second scale giving the consumption at various speeds-for comparison with a speedometer-is also provided.
