604,176. Delivering measured quantities of liquid. CHEECOL PROCESSES, Ltd., and GREEN, E. R. Dec. 14, 1945, No. 33915. [Class 106(v)] In a liquid metering device of the type in which a measuring vessel is connected to a supply tank so as to be filled to the same level as said tank, the open measuring vessel 1 has a two-way cock 5 and an adjustable displacement member 9, adjustment being obtained by a screwed vertical support 14 pivoted to an arm linked to the displacement member, the other end of the arm carrying a volume indicating pointer 12, being pivoted at 11 to a bracket on the reservoir. The invention is shown applied to a cement mixer and has an overflow trough 18 delivering to the reservoir.
