620,956. Dielectric heating. AIRMEC LABORATORIES, Ltd., (formerly P. R. T. LABORATORIES, Ltd.), and WALKER, P. H. Feb. 4, 1947, No. 3329. [Class 39(iii)] [Also in Group XIII] Material to be heated (e.g. tobacco) is fed into a metal drum 10 which forms one electrode of a R.F. heating system 12, the second electrode being formed by a metal plate or concentric smaller drum 13. Air may be blown through the drum by a fan 23 and may be heated by a suitable device 24.
