619,358. Animal drinking-troughs. VISICHICK BROODER CO., Ltd., STOUT, E. C., and TINDALL, A. Dec. 4, 1946, No. 35890. [Class 5 (ii)] [Also in Group X] The abutting ends of two sections A<SP>1</SP> and A<SP>2</SP> of animal drinking-troughs are surrounded by a curved strip B of metal or rubber extending to the top edges thereof, and secured in position by two curved wire clips C. Each clip is formed of two parallel members c joined by a transverse member c<SP>1</SP>, fitting over the top edge of the strip and of the edges of the sections A<SP>1</SP> and A<SP>2</SP>, the free (lower) ends of the members c of one clip being connected by tightening means such as bolts d and nuts d<SP>1</SP> to the like ends of the other clip. With rolled or beaded edges the abutting ends of the sections may be further connected by pins inserted into the beading. Packing material may be placed between the strip and the sections.
