658,571. Spring clips. METAL BOX CO., Ltd., TEBBUTT, C. N., and BROWN, D. M. May 20, 1949, No. 13581. [Class 44] A spring clip for connecting together cans, e.g. containing materials to be mixed before use, comprises a strip 1 of spring metal bent to form a foot 2, a stem 3 and a head 4 having inturned flanges 5 adapted to abut at 6 with the end seam 7, 12 of the cans 8, 11. Two or three clips are arranged round the circumference of the cans with the seamed edges 7, 12 engaged in pockets formed between the head 4 and foot 2. The dimensions of the upper and lower pockets may be different.
