[Class 109] [Also in Group V] An extruded band of thermoplastic material, e.g. polyvinyl chloride, for use as a binding or in making belts or braces, comprises a body 1 and a sinuous bead 2 connected to the body along one or both edges by a web 7. The pitch of the waves of the beads may be varied, and the pitch may be such that the waves overlap, see Fig. 5 (not shown). The top and bottom surfaces of the body may be plane or curved. The band may be formed with a longitudinal line of weakness, to enable it to be split into two similar parts each with one sinuous bead. According to the Provisional Specification the body part may be ornamented.
