615,585. Distributing music &c. FARNSWORTH TELEVISION & RADIO CORPORATION. July 22, 1946, No. 21820. Convention date, Oct. 5, 1945. [Class 40 (iv)] [Also in Group XL (b)] A distribution system for high-frequency electrical energy comprises an input terminal, n impedance inverters connected thereto, and n transmission lines connected to each inverter, each of the transmission lines being terminated in an impedance substantially equal to the characteristic impedance of the impedance inverters. The example shows a television receiving system in which energy passes from an aerial 1 to impedance inverters 4, 5, 6 which consist of quarter wave lines and each are connected to groups of transmission lines 7, 8 and 10 respectively. These lines are terminated in television sets 12, any unwanted line being provided with a suitable impedance 15.
