613,358. Moulding multi-coloured rods, tubes &c. by extrusion. DELORME, J. June 21, 1946. No. 18755 Convention date, June 22, 1945. [Class 87 (ii)] In an apparatus for extruding multi-coloured plastic bodies, plastic substances of, e.g, two different colours are forced through tapped openings 3a, 3b and passages 12a, 12b into annular grooves 11a, 11b provided in the inner wall of a hollow feed chamber 2. These grooves communicate through holes 8a, 8b with two series of bores 7a, 7b in a cylindrical distributing core 6 whereby the plastic is delivered to a draw plate 4. The core 6 may be rotated or may be stationary.
