611,668. Pylons. SOC. ANON. D'OUGREE MARIHAYE. May 3, 1946, No. 13524. Convention date, Aug. 26, 1942. [Class 20(i)] A steel pole is of I-section as shown in the Figure, having a web 1 which decreases in width along its length and flanges 2 having thickened edges 4 and a central rib 3 which is welded to the web at 5. The thickness of the flange and the edges 4 may decrease along their length upwards. The pole may be made of lengths welded end to end.
