Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a support pillar, mast or the like on the Base of an I-beam with a central web and two flanges parallel to each other.
Beam pillars or masts, for example for lighting purposes as beams of Billboards or as antenna masts are in a wide variety of designs already become known. For metal masts based on I-beams one has the advantage that such profiles are very inexpensive Have it extruded. On the other hand, you prefer but mostly conical mast constructions, because the bending stress at the upper end of the mast is much smaller than below and therefore the high unnecessary cross section only represents a disturbing weight load in the upper area.
The invention is therefore based on the object of a conical support pillar or to create mast on the basis of an I-beam, which in a simple manner and an optimal adaptation to the respective application while saving weight makes possible.
To solve this problem, the invention provides that such Beam pillar or mast of two along one meandering, along one slightly directed to the longitudinal center plane between the flanges inclined plane Cutting edge cut from the I-beam twisted and offset longitudinally sections welded together to form an end cut conical pillar is composed.
The configuration according to the invention results in a conical shape from an I-beam Mast, the taper of which depends on how strongly the meandering Cutting edge is inclined to the longitudinal median plane. In theory you can get a mast that is almost twice as wide at the bottom the I-beam and tapers upwards almost to form a tip.
Preferably, the cutting plane is placed symmetrically such that it in the I-beam divided into two identical conical sections.
In an embodiment of the invention, the offset of the sections is chosen so that the parts of the cutting edges of both sections parallel to the cutting plane lie against one another. This creates symmetrical, square or hexagonal Cutouts in the median longitudinal plane, through which, based on the total cross-sectional area of the resulting conical mast, a significant weight reduction compared to a full profile.
Alternatively, a conical support pillar, mast or the like can be placed on the base of an I-beam can also be achieved by meandering from one along a slightly to the median longitudinal plane between the flanges inclined plane directed cutting edge from the I-beam cut section and a flange part welded onto the toothed cutting edge. In this way you can make two masts from one I-beam by cutting one of the cut halves through a welded one Flange added. This additional welded flange can also a shape deviating from the molded counter flange of the I-beam and / or have dimensions, for example it can also be an open channel or be designed as a tube.

From an I-beam 1 as shown in Fig. 1, by a meandering

als Fahrleitungs- oder Antennenmast oder auch als Beleuchtungsmast.7 shows a possible installation position of a conical device according to the invention
