611,309. Walls, floors and roofs. HILLS PATENT GLAZING CO., Ltd., and HINCHLIFFE, E. D. June 7, 1945, No. 14325. [Class 20(ii)] A sheet 1 of aluminium or other metal or alloy or of other material for covering the wall, floor or roof of a building has channels 2, 2a along its opposite edges and grooves 4 close to the inner sides of the .channels. One edge is turned upwards at 5. The channel 2 is slightly larger than the channel 2a, so that it can fit over the channel 2a at the edge of a similar sheet 1a. The channel 2a on the opposite edge of sheet 1 fits inside the channel 2 of another similar sheet 1b. The upturned edges 5, by fitting into the grooves 4 of adjacent sheets, prevent the interfitting channels from spreading apart. Intermediate channels, such as 6, may be formed for stiffening. The wells formed between the channels may be filled with concrete or similar material.
