[Class 83 (iv)] In an electric welding machine with roller electrodes a, b, a power-driven abrasive wheel c of a contour complementary to that of the electrode is movably mounted on the housing h through which the electrode shaft passes and is held by spring pressure in contact with each electrode so as to clean the face thereof of any adhesives and to true it during operation. Each abrasive wheel shaft d is mounted in bearings on a slide c movable by springs g on rods f secured to the housing h, the shaft d being driven by an electric or air motor on a housing on the slide.
