609,577. Ventilation louvres for windows. WORCESTER WINDSHIELDS & CASEMENTS, Ltd., JONES, A. E. E., and ASSON, L. March 18, 1946, No. 8258. [Class 137] A fixed ventilation louvre panel 2, for use with a vehicle sliding window 1, is carried at its upper or outer edge in an H-section boundary frame 4, having angle brackets 12 for securing it to the window surround 3 and a weather strip 9, e.g. of rubber, in the free channel of the H, engaging the surround 3 to prevent ingress of rain &c. The panel 2 may be made of glass or a plastic and, as shown in Fig. 3, extends along the top and front side of the window aperture. It may be inclined to the plane of the window when it is divided into two parts connected by an H-section junction piece 13a.
