[Class 80 (iv)] In a ring spinning or doubling frame, a locking member o for the draft wheel covers p is mounted on rods n which are slidable in the gear casing, and carry an extension k, m abutting against the twist wheel door h to retain it in the locking position as long as the door is closed. The belt fork d clutch lever, or the like, carries rods f, g, the latter abutting against the twist wheel door h to prevent the power being passed on whilst the door is open; if the power is on, the rod g enters an aperture in the gear casing and prevents opening of the door h.
